Asgore grew up among a warrior pack called Skyfall. He was trained as a warrior from a small pup after being abandoned in the wilderness by his pack leader to survive and find his way home. He doesn't remember if he had siblings or not, but remembers other pups with him in his litter, he inherited his fathers damaged nose and thus lacks a sense of smell. But, he can taste scents in the air, bit like a cat. Kind of.

As a teenager his warrior training got harder and new opponents had to be faced. One of which gave him a large scar across his face, which took his left eye with it; Hercien. She managed to blind him, but that never stopped him from fighting. Fight after fight, he had grown stronger, victory after victory he had grown cocky. In the end, he ended up challenging the Alpha of the pack and, upon getting his arse kicked, he was banished from the packs territory with multiple wounds and scars.

Having learned his mistakes. Asgore runs with the Crimson Reign pack at his old age, aiding them in their survival and laying his life down to protect them.
